While we expected iPads, AirPods, and Apple Watches to get significant Prime Day discounts, the absolute star of the 48-hour sale is the Mac—specifically MacBooks. Amazon slashed the price of Apple’s popular MacBooks to lows never before seen, with savings of up to $700 on the newest models. Some specific configurations are sold out, but many are still available. These are the seven best deals remaining before the sale ends at midnight:
13-inch MacBook Air (M2, 256GB, 8GB RAM): $799 ($200 off)
The M2 MacBook Air is already a great bargain at its usual $999 MSRP, but for $200 off, it’s a downright steal. You can get it in any color (midnight, silver, space gray, starlight), and with Apple’s latest design, it won’t feel like last year’s model.

We take notice whenever a new MacBook is discounted by more than $100, but $250 off the entry-level Air is absolutely incredible. This is Apple’s newest model of MacBook with an M3 processor and the ability to connect two external displays with the laptop lid closed.

If a 13-inch screen isn’t enough space for you, the 15-inch version of the same fantastic laptop is also on sale for $250 off. And if you want more storage or memory, those options are also on sale.
14-inch MacBook Pro (M3, 1TB, 16GB RAM): $1,749 ($250 off)
The M3 MacBook Pro is Apple’s newest addition to the lineup, with the best parts of the Pro machines—the incredible Liquid Retina XDR display and expansive array of ports—at a lower price with a low-end chip and less storage and memory. Even with that model being discounted to $1,399, we recommend this Prime Day sale instead, which bumps the RAM and the storage, and still get it at an incredible price.
14-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Pro, 512GB, 16GB RAM): $1,699 ($300 off)
If speed is important, this step-up model is a steal for $300 off, even with half the storage. And you can get it in space black.

16-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Pro, 512GB, 36GB RAM): $2,399 ($600 off)
Apple’s largest MacBooks don’t come cheap, but $600 off this well-equipped model helps a lot. You’ll get a 16-inch screen, speedy M3 Pro processor, and lots of RAM, along with everything else that makes the MacBook Pro so great.
16-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Max, 1TB, 48GB RAM): $3,299 ($700 off)
The absolute cream of the MacBook crop (before you start getting into expensive BTO options), this configuration brings you more than enough power, storage, and memory for years of use. We rarely see older MacBook Pro models with this kind of discount, so if you’ve been on the fence, feel free to jump over.
