Apple’s latest iPad Pro models are nearly the same as those introduced in the spring of 2021. The M1 processor has been upgraded to an M2, they support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, and there’s a new “hover experience” for the 2nd-generation Apple Pencil. Starting prices are the same in the U.S., but international prices have been adjusted upwards quite a bit to account for the latest changes in exchange rate and inflation.

- 11-inch iPad Pro: starts at $799/£899 (128GB, Wi-Fi only) and $999/£1,079 (128GB, Wi-Fi + cellular)
- 12.9-inch iPad Pro: starts at $1,099/£1,249 (128GB, Wi-Fi only) and $1,299/£1,429 (128GB, Wi-Fi + cellular)

With an upgrade to the M2, these are the fastest and most capable iPads you can buy. The new “hover” capability for the Apple Pencil is pretty slick, too. Having been released just a few months ago, the next update is still a long way away.

The only real reason to wait is to hope for sales. You typically don’t see sales on such new hardware–it will probably be the summer of 2023 before real discounts on the latest models start to appear.
